Mr. Robert Terradas
Mr. Robert Terradas (Barcelona 1944) is a world-class Spanish architect who founded Terradas Arquitectes in 1976 and has spent years in architecture theory teaching and research. He has been Associate Professor at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya ? BarcelonaTech. Moreover, he is Director of the Escuela de Ingeniería y Arquitectura La Salle, Barcelona since 1997. Major projects include: Barcelona Royal Shipyards, the CosmoCaixa Science Museum of Barcelona, the CosmoCaixa Science Museum of Madrid (Alcobendas) and so on.
Robert Terradas Munta?ola has been recognized by ways of various awards, such as FAD Award (the highest architecture honor in Spain and Portugal) in 1988, Ciudad de Barcelona Award in 1997, Special Mention of Ciudad de Barcelona Award in 2004, Finalist FAD Awards in 2005, and the Best European Museum Award in 2006. He also won several international bidding projects in France, South Korea, Chile, Turkey, Panama and other countries. Besides, his projects have been published by many major architecture magazines of USA, Canada, Switzerland, UK, Chile, Turkey, and Italy and so on.
